Amazing Home

by Martha 2025-11-20

This home had the most beautiful views! We had our coffee on the back porch every morning to watch the sunrise. In the evening we watched the deer leisurely walk across the yard. Such a glorious sight. The river was just steps away with a sitting area to enjoy the beautiful water view. The home was extremely clean and comfortable. Very close to all the shopping and restaurants. Will definitely come back!! Thank you for a wonderful stay!!

Excellent house. Very clean, seems to be fairly new, very well stocked kitchen with cooking equipment and utensils, nice propane BBQ grill, beautiful huge pecan trees making lots of shade. Everyone in our family (6 adults, 2 kids) totally loved this property. We would definitely stay here again.

Very nice place

by Michael 2025-09-02

Spacious house with very nice outdoor seating, we loved the large back porch. Kitchen had all the pans and utensils needed. Beds were comfy for everyone. Easy 10 minutes drive into town. Would go back!

by Carolyn 2025-07-24

The house was beautiful. The kitchen was amazing with a large island and the living room was nicely furnished. The back porch was wonderful to sit and enjoy the views. We enjoyed our visit very much and would consider renting again if we come back to Wimberley.

Fun and Relaxing Getaway

by Steve 2025-06-27

Great place to enjoy the beautiful hill country. The property is exactly as advertised. A beautiful house and property on the Blanco river with direct river access. We had a great time staying here. Would definitely book again.

Family vacay

by Erin 2025-06-22

The House was modern and had everything we needed for our family of 9 including a 10 month old and 2 1/2 year old. Plenty of space for everyone. The porches were nice for us all to sit on together with plenty of chairs. The river is right down from the house but we were a little disappointed BUT no one is to blame for that except Mother Nature. It's a beautiful rental!

Spacious peaceful Wimberley

by Fran 2025-04-26

La Casa Río is exactly as described, and was wonderful for our sisters’ 4 day getaway. The bedrooms and common areas are spacious, uncluttered, and clean. The three king beds are all in large private rooms, and the twin daybeds are in a large open space perfect for kids. The property on the river is a short drive to Wimberley Square, but far enough away to make it feel like you’re away from it all. The outdoor patios and table and chairs down by the river were great places to enjoy the view, deer, fireflies and conversation.

Wonderful house and gorgeous property! We loved everything about this spot- we tend to be loud when we have our annual get togethers, tried to be respectful of sensitive neighbors- hope we did okay! Would recommend this house for sure!

We had a great time.

Enjoyable stay, The property was just as we hoped for.

by Susan 2024-06-07

We just finished a three night stay in early June. The house was exactly as described and very clean. We were a small group of retired friends, and we enjoyed having three bedrooms with king size beds, and the beautiful open common space to drink, coffee and catch up with each other. I would stay here again!

Spacious, lovely home base to explore Texas Hill Country

by Christine 2024-04-24

La Casa Rio is a lovely home on a lovely property. Everything was clean and well appointed. Peaceful area to gaze upon or wade in the Blanco River, and enjoy the deer and nearby cows. Very quiet and excellent stargazing. Close to town so you can enjoy the restaurants and shops of Wimberley. A good home base for exploring the Hill Country, San Antonio and Austin.

by Beth 2024-04-23

The house was great. Lots of space and a wonderful view of the Blanco River.

Phenomenal property

Perfect

by Brenda 2024-01-08

Everything was absolutely perfect. House is very comfortable. Deer right outside your door. Cocktail hour and dancing out by the fire pit every night made for one of the best sisters trip. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home.

Thank you for staying with us! Please come stay again!

Convenient, comfortable stay!

by Mallika 2022-10-30

The house was perfectly suited to our needs! We were a group of three couples in town for a wedding in Wimberley. The house slept all of us more than comfortably, we were able to watch a movie, sit out in the sun, use the kitchen, all very easily. And it was a quick drive into town. Would definitely recommend for groups staying at or near Wimberley.

Manager's Reply: We're so glad this home was perfect for your vacation getaway. We sincerely hope to have you as our guest again soon!

Gorgeous property with well-stocked kitchen supplies and river rafting items in the shed. Will come back next year!

Manager's reply:
We appreciate you being our guest and hope to have you back very soon!

Another Awesome Week

by Amy 2022-06-06

Great house, love Wimberley. Plenty of space for everyone. Only negative, if traveling with elderly parent secondary ground floor guest bedroom mattress is way too high to utilize safely. That being said, Mother enjoyed the main suite - haha! We will be back.

Manager's reply:
Thank you for being our wonderful guests! We can't wait to have you back in Hill Country soon.
