We enjoyed our stay at Overlook Pointe! We had plenty of room for our family of 8, two generations. It was clean and comfortable and the game room and media rooms were a real bonus for our three night stay! Gruene is nearby with a cool restaurant and shopping area on the Guadalupe River, we've been coming here for decades! Our personal thanks to the wonderful employees at Vacay Country who made our stay more enjoyable by their kindness and warmth, you can't put a dollar amount on that! We will certainly be back!

First time visiting Canyon Lake Tx! It did not disappoint. The waterfront lake house is just what we needed. Had more than enough room for our family of 5. The game room was an absolute hit. The second floor deck was amazing. It gave us the best subway views and we even dinned outdoors. Home was well kept, clean and had everything we needed. We did not get to enjoy the hot tub on the first floor deck due to large wasp nest, but it was not a deal breaker. We enjoyed the lake and floating the Guadalupe. Granny Do’s is a must and Mrs Bush’s pie company. Thank you for sharing your home with us! We will back back soon.

Great Place for a Girl's Trip

We had a great girl's trip at the Overlook Point Lake House. We rented a boat at the nearby marina and enjoyed a day on the lake. The house has amazing lake views to enjoy morning coffee and wine in the evening. Everyone had plenty of room. The location was great for our day trips to Wimberley, Gruene and New Braunfels.

Very nice home. Loved the view and great amenities. Would have liked better access to the lake but overall the house was amazing and made us feel at home if I had anything to be nitpicky about it would be spider webs but it was not an actual problem. Thank you for the memories.

We had a wonderful time! The house was perfect — we loved having our morning coffee and evening wine admiring the view from the deck and spending the day playing ping pong and fooseball. Overlook Pointe house was a great little getaway. The rooms were clean, plenty of towels and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils/etc. the movie room is nice. I would recommend bringing a dvd or usb with the movie on it as there are only a few streaming options. The hot tub worked very well. The walkway to the lake was a little steep but we did it with our 5 year old without a problem. The garage game room was fun. The nearest restaurants and towns are a bit of a drive but definitely worth it. Would love to spend more time enjoying the quiet lake with family.

Beautiful location, great views. Weather was hot and humid so not able to sit outside as much as we would have wanted. The hot tub was great, actually enjoyable in the humid temps. Lots of stairs, good access to vehicles from garage. SkyRun quick response to questions. It did get a little hot in middle of day, media room and lower lever only cool spots.

My husband and I booked this lovely home to celebrate Valentines Day, as well as my birthday. We thoroughly enjoyed the home and all of its amenities. It turned out to be the coldest days we've had in the area in quite some time, so we were confined to the indoors only. Thank goodness for the fireplace! We had plenty to keep us occupied with. There was very nice seating areas, and TVs to the game room. Including a ping pong table and foosball table. We even enjoyed the hot tub! The home was well-equipped with most anything.

Oh my, this has been a piece of heaven. Every thing was super clean , which is a big thing for us. Especially during COVID. Everything from the theater room to the Tv to how to get to the lake had Instructions. A book of recommendations was left for us. Everything was very well organized, only had one miner setback. It was Hard to access into the lake from the lake house. And I had my 70 yr old mother with me. Wish they can detail better the accommodations on VRBO. An amazing view at night!! Thank you.

Loved this house! Completely furnished, and stocked with your essentials needed for your stay. Even labeled for easier access. All bedrooms/bathrooms were clean, and the beds were very comfortable! Jacuzzi was easy to use and very relaxing. Jacuzzi was a great addition to the beautiful views of the lake from both decks. Direct access to the lake. Theater room is basically like being in the actual movie theaters. Had good privacy. Had no problems with neighboring visitors.

What a cool place! We had room for all the girls. We spent the majority of our time mixing margaritas and drinking them on the deck. LOVE THAT VIEW! We went dancing at Gruene Hall, and shopping in Wimberley. We tried to go on a wine tour but got lost :) Anyway, the house was cutely decorated and very clean. I'd love to come back some day. I recommend it!

4 couples stayed at the cabin. We enjoyed our time drinking coffee on the patio every morning. The Lake is several stairs down but a beautiful view. We rented a boat from the marina you can see across the lake from the house. Only took us about 10 minutes to drive there. Grocery store is also close by, as well as restaurants. Very relaxing location! Everything was clean and well worth it.

The house and view was beautiful! Lots of room, and was very comfortable for our large group. We loved the back decks as outdoor hang out areas, and the hot tub is super nice! The garage is furnished with lots of fun games to play. The lake is beautiful with clear water you can get in and swim right behind the house. Manager was informative and available for any questions or help we needed. Had a great stay!

This property is fantastic. There were 8 of us, and we were fighting over the bedrooms! The porch on this house is fantastic, and we spent quite a bit of time each evening enjoying the nice weather. Everything is so close and we got to enjoy several outings.

We had 8 people- 6 adults and 2 young girls so the house was perfect for us. Everything was clean when we got there. The only negative is the carpet on the stairs should be replaced.

There are so many places to choose from for spring break! We picked this place because of the views and the closeness to New Braunfels and Gruene. Loved the house. We didn't realize it had been remodeled. We loved eating on the deck with the kids. The garage/game room was fun too. The hot tub on the lower deck was nice because it was shaded. Overall we loved the loved the house and hope to come back soon.

I've stayed at several homes around the lake and this one has the best views I've seen. Loved spending my evenings on the deck watching the sunset and its also recently been remodel. Garage was a nice touch and the kids loved it. Well be back!

Great Home. Hot Tub, ping-pong, darts, movie room, beautiful views. Only had 2 1/2 issues...1st-TV in the game room wasn't working, nor was the downstairs living room TV.2nd-Sleeping is fine for groups of 8...Master has a kingsize bed, 2 rooms with queen beds, one room with twin/single bunk bed. After that, it sucks...horrible sofa beds in both living rooms. 2 1/2 Master bathroom is huge. All of the other ones are quite small...tub/toilet in a small room.very little yard in front of the house for outside play. but down by the water was amazing!

There isn't one negative thing I could say. The space comfortably accommodated my group of ten and the house is fully stocked with anything you'd need. The house itself is amazing and the views are even better. The trek to the water is strenuous but with the calories burned it was totally worth it and allowed me the freedom to eat whatever I wanted! My only wish would be for more time!!

We had a wonderful weekend with our family of 8. The kids enjoyed the garage that is converted into a game room as well as the movie theater. The best part is the deck and the view. We would go again! The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star is b/c one of the bunk beds was stained, some light bulbs out, & the red carpet has seen better days. Everything else was super clean and we could rent again.

This house was great! We had two families - 4 adults and 6 kids. There was enough room for all to sleep comfortably as well as hang out. Our kids enjoyed the media room, garage with games to play, and the downstairs living area. The kitchen was somewhat on the small side but it worked out okay since we grilled on the upper deck every evening. The upper deck in the morning was amazing with the view of the lake and the morning breeze. It was also great at night to watch the boats come in.

6 guys get together to chill and hang out. Deep water for jumping in and swimming. Ladder to climb out of water. 2 great decks with lake views. The hot tub under cover and usable in rain and cold. Media room superb! Kitchen well stocked for cooking and grilling. A bummer that we were Not allowed to use fireplace or have fires on the beach. We would definitely rent again!!

This house was absolutely perfect for the weekend we wanted. The weather was not ideal, but we definitely took advantage of the hot tub! I will say the hot tub started to get cold after a while and would have trouble heating back up. There was enough space for everyone to relax and not feel like we were on top of each other which was great. All in all I would book at this house again! We had the best time.

The house was great and spacious. We had to accommodate multiple family members and friends and the layout of the bedrooms made it easy for everyone to have their own space.Kitchen was great. We brought food to prep for meals and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook the meals.The only thing we encountered as an issue is that some of the remote controls were missing batteries.Overall, it was a great house and we would return for another stay.

We really loved this place...attention to detail was great...all age groups liked it from 4 to 63. One of the dining chairs just collapsed with my elderly dad sitting on it (he is not a big guy).

Had a girls weekend at this lake house and it was perfect! Beautiful and well maintained home with 2 massive decks, lots of bedrooms and sitting areas and a hot tub overlooking Canyon Lake. If you are looking for a lake house for a large group, this is a good one to consider.

I booked this house for a girl's weekend reunion and we all absolutely LOVED it!!! The house is clean and spacious! The balcony has an amazing view of the lake!! The house and atmosphere are conducive to a fun, relaxing weekend with friends or family. You can also catch a beautiful sunset while enjoying the jacuzzi! The only negative thing I found was that there is no "easy" way to get to the lake. There is literally a vertical ladder that you have to go down/climb to get to the water.

We had a great experience and would recommend this place to anyone. The only drawback to the house was the lack of a large table to accommodate all the guests for meals and games. The positives far outweighed that negative, however, and we would definitely stay here again.

The property was amazing and looks exactly like the pictures. House was clean and fully stocked with everything needed in the kitchen and bathrooms. The beds were very comfortable. We had 9 people in the house and we never felt cramped at all. Plenty of space to hang out and eat and talk. The adults loved sitting on the deck at night watching the sunset over the lake and the kids loved the movie room with stadium seating. One bonus we didn't expect was the numerous deer everywhere walking around.

Stayed here with 9 guys for a bachelor party and we all had a blast. The place was adequately stocked with anything we needed to cook with and had plenty of dishes/utensils for all of us. The location was amazing right on the water, we spent a few hours swimming in the lake from the property access. The access was fine for all of us (9 30-year-old guys), but could be difficult for children or older people.

My wife and I really enjoyed the property. The views of the lake are fantastic The photos online don't do this place justice. Great place for a large family. Will definitely stay here again. The one downfall of the property is you have to drive by some pretty rough houses in order to get to this beautiful house.

Driving up to the property I wasn't really sure what to expect, but the house is wonderful and relaxing. Fit our girls' weekend perfectly. The movie room and porch were our favorites. The movie room had access to Netflix, and a Blueray player. We found all easy to operate. A few notes for the owners, the coffee machine needs to be clean, it took a couple of hours for a full pot of coffee. Also, we could not find how to turn the hot tub up, and it was hot, but could have been a little warmer since it was chilly.

We loved our stay at this lake house. The decks and views of the lake were amazing! We spent hours just relaxing on the deck. The house is very well equipped. It had everything we needed for a weekend gathering with friends. The beds were comfortable and the house was really clean. We enjoyed the hot tub and the games in the converted garage and the media room was great too. Tons of fun and things to do, even in January. We will be back!

3 families shared the house. Love the deck and love that you can walk down to the water. The kids really enjoyed the garage too (ping pong and what not). We got some great shots of the lake at sunset. Wish we could have stayed longer. I'd love to come back. Scott was helpful when we had questions. My wife is a stickler for details and keeping things clean. She was satisfied so we'll see if all three families can get away during the summer. Not sure where to put a boat in but I'll do some more research.

We truly enjoyed the stay at the Overlook Pointe Lake House. We had searched for a property that could accommodate 3 couples. This was perfect. The home is a beautiful home to begin with and the accommodations were great. Roomy and private. The new deck and stairway down to the water was a great add-on. We did have a few bugs. A bug-zapper would be a welcome addition. No mosquitoes which was great, but lots of gnats. Must have been due to the recent rains. Thank you again, Rick and Jane

Nicest home in the area, beautifully decorated, well maintained, and comfortably furnished with everything from cozy leather sofas to bath towels. Two A/C units that kept us all very comfortable. We really enjoyed the deck and were all impressed with the extensive woodwork and engineering. The media room was a nice touch, as was the game area downstairs. The only thing we wished was that there was a direct water access with some type of platform for us babies and grandmas.

The house has lovely decor, comfortable beds and furniture, and a wonderful outdoor deck (two levels). It's the only house in the area with access built into the rocks to get to the water (lake). The kitchen is well stocked, the garage is a game room and there are two refrigerators/kitchen areas. Our team had a great stay. There's not much of a yard, so don't plan for yard games. The last bit of stairs and ladder to the water are metal and textured, so water shoes is highly recommended.

My family and I had a wonderful experience with this property. When we walked into the house and the first thing we noticed is how everything was especially well kept and clean. Our delight continued as we walked through the house and noticed how spacious it was. Then we walked out on the back deck (which happened to be two levels, huge, brand new, and furnished with great patio furniture and a grill) and we were slapped in the face with the most beautiful view we have experienced with any lake house that we've ever stayed at!

Just returned from an amazing weekend at this property! Fantastic for families with teens! Lots of room for everyone to hang out! The house is really wonderful, well stocked, great furnishings, bathrooms, towels, well stocked kitchen. Especially loved the extra refrigerator for all our drinks in the downstairs kitchen. The new deck is amazing, but if you are not very mobile this house is not for you. Lots of steps to get down to the water, then a ladder into the lake. Water shoes helped a lot.

We loved our stay at this beautiful home. The kitchen was furnished with everything we needed and there was plenty of propane for the grill. The beds were nice and comfortable. The layout of the house allowed for privacy and quiet for those who wanted. go It was a challenge to access the lake which I feel should have been disclosed in the property description. There were members of our party that could not make the rocky climb to the lake to swim.

Put on your shorts and flip flops, grab a margarita and enjoy this well-equipped home on Canyon Lake. Enjoy evening sunsets or a peaceful early morning sunset on the expansive, multi-tier deck. The home has all you need, including TWO kitchens (one up/one down) gas grill for BBQ, super comfortable beds and couches, a home theatre, as well as ping pong, and other games for kids or adults who still like to behave like kids! Furnishings are much nicer than I have in my own home.

One of the nicest houses I have stayed at on Canyon Lake. Love watching the boats, wildlife, having dinner, and watching the incredible sunsets on the HUGE decks overlooking the lake. I don't think I came inside unless I was asleep. Beds are super comfortable, kids loved the media room, ping pong table, dart board and jumbo sized Jenga set and our favorite was fishing along the shore. Close to the Guadalupe, 20 minutes from Gruene, New Braunfels, Natural Bridge Caverns and 45 minutes from Fiesta Texas. We will be back.

Wow is all I can say!! What an amazing lake house with everything you could ask for and more. The views from the upper and lower decks were amazing. We really enjoyed that the boat ramp was so close and convenient. As an added bonus there were 2 kitchens, and the theatre room w/ stadium seating. We had such a great time on our short getaway we already planning a return trip this summer for longer stay. Highly recommend this place, it won't disappoint!!
