The house met all expectations based on the pictures and description. We had an issue with the downstairs air conditioning when we arrived. Management was fast and helpful with the issue, and within an hour the AC was functioning perfectly.

This was our 4th summer to rent this property, and we always have a great time. You cannot beat the location, and river access. Also, the rock shelf, just into the river is great for lounging and playing, if you have littles. We were two families, with four adults, and three teens, and the house has great space, for all. We always appreciate the Adirondack chairs, and grill provided. You have everything you need, for a stay at Guadalupe Daze, and the AC works great! We will be back!

This house checked all our wants -on the river and accessible - tubing outfitter near house- large house giving everybody their own bedroom -huge deck and table to play games ,etc nice house layout -enough room for 4 cars even tho it says only 3 - fun was had by all!!!

Family River Trip #3 at Guadalupe Daze

This is our third trip to this house, and we love the location, and the outdoor space. I appreciate the remodel on both bathrooms, new grill outside, as well as the new sliding glass door. All of the linens were nice and fresh, and, overall, the house was clean, and felt "fresh". We do love the location. I am sure we will be back, again, next summer.

Perfect place for family time

We have come to this wonderful house each summer - except 2020 - since 2011. walking in the front door feels like coming home. The bathrooms were remodeled since we were here last year. That was a pleasant surprise. The river access is so nice. Kids from littles to bugs can play in the river with its shallow rock shelf by the shore and deeper channel in the middle. There is so much living space here - separate tv room and large deck allow us to spread out. Btw I dining tables and barstools let us set up a game or puzzle and still be able to eat together. As soon as we figure out the dates around our teens I’ll be making reservations for next summer.

Overall the property was really nice and clean and we enjoyed our stay there. The only critique I would have is that cleaning supplies like spray cleaner and more toilet paper be available.

Great house right on a super spot in the river! Nice yard space for kids with grass, great lighted deck, and wonderful spot to tie up your tubes and kayak up and down in front of the house. It has a great rock shelf jutting out from the yard where you can put a shade tent. It's just the perfect place for a large family to get together, relax and enjoy each other and the beautiful surroundings.

It's a great property with a well-stocked kitchen, plenty of towels, and everything you need to have a great stay. The deck is huge and well-lit for nighttime games or dinner out. Easy access to the river with chairs to carry down as well. Nice place!

Family had a great time. We had a few days of rainy weather but we were still able to enjoy the back yard, being on the river, for some fishing!! Hosts were great and provided all info which made everything easy.

The property location was great which is what was the most important! Great spot on the water, with a shallow area perfect for kids swimming and some nice deep areas to swim in. Plenty of dishes, utensils, pots/pans, blender, and really everything you need! The washer and dryer were nice too! The only downside is the sliding door leading out to the porch water/gets stuck and was a pain to open. Other than that it was perfect. We enjoyed cooking dinner each night, used the BBQ pit and sat down at the nice big table, perfect for 8 adults.

We loved this house! Everything was super easy. One of the cleanest places I've ever rented. I wish there would have been more toliet paper/paper towels but everything else was amazing. Great water location.

Clean, Straightforward, and Easy

Our stay was a breeze for us. Check-in/check-out was simple, the property management company was quick and helpful, and the house was clean. Only very minor things were noticed but not even worth docking a star (cracked tile in the upstairs bathroom, labels on measuring cup were rubbed off, backyard gate door was somewhat difficult to unlock).

Great location off the Guadalupe River. A quiet neighborhood with plenty of space inside and outside to enjoy with friends or family. We had 6 guests and each had their own bed (one couple for the queen bedroom upstairs). The space was clean and we enjoyed using the speakers to play music during dinner and relaxation. The only minor tweaks we had: kitchen trashcan did not have a lid, no dish rack to dry dishes, and the coffee maker was not working as properly. Very very minor in the grand scheme of things!

It was way more impressive than we thought it would be. Very spacious house and the backyard view was amazing. The 2 back patios we great and everything we could need was provided. The beds were very comfortable and clean, there was plenty of fans throughout the house and they all worked great. Lots of seating provided which was great for our party of 8. Going down to the water was a bit rough for our baby but nothing crazy. The bonfire pit that was by the water was great and the water access was perfect for the little ones. All in all, everything was FANTASTIC. We do recommend that you bring plenty of mosquito repellent, the property has the tiki torches out back which work great for the night but those little buggers are relentless lol. We will definitely be back next year.

Nice property

Had an enjoyable, relaxing stay with my sisters here. Because we are neatniks we were worried about previous reviews saying it was dirty and the bed upstairs was uncomfortable. But we did not find this to be the case at all. Property was clean, all beds were comfortable, and the toilet seat that people mentioned in other reviews had been replaced. Beautiful location. Plenty of room to spread out. We had just four of us but could have had several families easily. I docked one star because wifi doesn't work and umbrella was broken, and though owner responded immediately to my initial report, there was no follow up. Luckily we didn't need to use a laptop or tablet, but we did have to use our data. Overall a great place and would stay here again!

The location is excellent-we loved having the rock ledge in the river for the kids to play in, and adults to lounge on. The views are gorgeous-loved the property. The house was clean, in terms of the kitchen, bathrooms, linens, floors, etc, however, I do think it could use a deep cleaning.

Excellent river access, esp if you have young children

My family and I had a great stay here. The river access was fantastic for my 6 and 3 year old. The giant rock out front and across the river provided a great (and safe) place for them to play. We loved being able to walk down the lawn and step directly into the river. There are a few little rapids downstream so the location was great for a quick little float for the kids. We were a bit surprised that the house was a bit old and not updated since it is on the high end of the price range. The upstairs sink had trouble draining, but other than that we had a wonderful stay.

We would definitely recommend this home to friends and family and hope to get to stay here again sometime soon. The beach river entry was our favorite part, we could walk right in and sit all day or get Little Ponderosa Outfitter to pick us up from less than 5 Minutes Down the road to float. The house had every amenity we needed.

Loved the backyard river access. It was far enough upstream to avoid the party groups. The house was dated, but we didn't care as we spent most of our time outside. The fireflies created a beautiful show at night! Perfect location...just remember to bring bug spray :)

The property was as described. We loved being able to wake up and walk down to the river. We enjoyed having our meals on the spacious deck. The internet was fast and accessible throughout the house and on the deck. The house had everything we needed, although I would recommend bringing extra paper towels/toilet paper as there isn't much stocked. I think we only had 1 roll of paper towels, which made it hard to clean up messes once we ran out. Our one suggestion - please replace upstairs toilet seat, its squishy warmth is very discomforting and it is too small for a regular size human. Otherwise, we loved the house and would definitely book again! The management company was very easy to communicate with.

Guadalupe Daze Stay ending 12.02.19

Our stay at the Guadalupe Daze for several days in November 2019 was very enjoyable. The property is quite comfortable and cozy. The home is on a dead end street. You cross a small bridge over the Guadalupe in a narrow section of the river. Because of its location, there is no traffic and it is very quiet during this time of the year. The scenery of the hill country in Texas is beautiful and is something to see and experience. The nearest town, Sattler is about 8 minutes away where there are a few businesses and a grocery store. The nearest larger city is New Braunfels which is about 25 minutes. If you are looking for a place to relax and get away from a big city this is an ideal place. Highly recommended.

Location on the river is fantastic! We were able to float right up to our house using Ponderosa Floats - that was awesome. Great outdoor space and plenty of room inside. Inside is pretty no-frills but still a nice place to stay. Shampoo/body wash/coffee was there already for us which was a big plus compared to some other properties. Checkout was also a breeze as they didn't require a lot to be done to the house before checking out - that was helpful with an 11 AM checkout being required - so we didn't feel super rushed to get out.

We Love Guadalupe Daze!

This is our second time to stay at Guadalupe Daze and we have had a great time both times! The house is equipped with everything you would need to cook and have a comfortable stay with comfy beds and nice towels. The river access is great and easy for anyone to walk right into the river, there is no big dropoff. This house is in a great location to get to tube rentals, a store and restaurants, and a short 10 min drive to canyon lake. If you have any questions at all the staff is more than happy to help and quick to reply. I would highly recommend staying at Guadalupe Daze!

House was very clean and location was amazing. Tube rental and shuttle 3 mins down the road. Only complaint - the beds were not very comfortable.

I come out to Canyon Lake/New Braunfels area all the time. In fact, I've stayed with this management company tons of times. I stayed at two of their properties two weekends in a row. They're great. Anyway! This place is fun. It's bright and clean and I like the tile throughout the house. Of course, the river is awesome and all the neighbors are nice. My daughters stayed upstairs so my husband and I stayed downstairs. The house is cute and basic but I really like the simplicity. It's a great place to come and relax.

What a cute house on the river

Guadalupe Daze is a great house on the river. We just started making family trips up to New Braunfels and this house is the one for us. The house was very clean with plenty of room. I have 4 kids so we liked putting some of us upstairs and some of us downstairs. The shaded deck was our favorite and we found out that we could walk down the street one minute to a river outfitter so we could float the river. We had one issue while we were there. My son had an accident and we had to use all the bath towels to take care of the mess. But I called the management company and in 10 minutes someone showed up with extra towels. They were so friendly and nice. I'm trying to work in a girls weekend in the fall if I can get us all to meet up.

It had the best shoreline to the Guadalupe River for miles on either side of the river.

The access to the Guadalupe River was very easy. We were able to sit in the water in beach chairs. The house is very convenient to Canyon Lake & a grocery store. The beds were ok. The towels were new & fluffy. The kitchen only had one skillet and the handle was about to fall off of it. Other than that everything was great.
